NICE TO MEET YOU
Posh Places is committed to making your dream home or office a reality. With four certified interior designers on staff, our experience, imagination and forward thinking can help ensure your makeover will be the fun and amazing adventure it should be.
We start with the development of a custom design that balances scale and proportion with function and comfort. We leverage the best of current technology, new products, and latest construction techniques to create a carefully curated plan – according to scale and budget – punctuated by impeccable attention to detail and longevity.
What’s more, Posh Places’ hands-on approach to fabrication and construction leads to refreshingly smart interiors and exteriors. We collaborate with architects, general contractors and property developers to make exclusive design affordable. We also often serve as liaisons between clients and contractors to keep projects on time and within budget, minimizing delays that can result from uncoordinated services.
Based in North Lima, Ohio, Posh Places collaborates with residential and commercial clients throughout Ohio, western PA and even Florida. We also have a 12,000-square-foot retail design center filled with inspiration, from furniture and accessories to flooring and finishes.

Northeast Ohio's premier interior designer, Tess Etzler has more than 30 years experience creating beautifully livable residential and commercial spaces. Known for innovative ideas that are executed with timeliness, quality and attention to detail, she transforms everyday spaces into extraordinary showcases. “My team’s goal is to become the bridge between your dreams and the reality of building a perfect house,” says Tess. “We are not only designing your home, we are creating your lifestyle."
A graduate of the interior design program at Kent State University, Tess has been awarded “Best of Houzz” within the Service category for three out of the past four years. The service honor is based on several factors, including a pro’s overall rating on Houzz and client reviews. Only a fraction of the more than 2.5 million active home building, remodeling, and design industry professionals on Houzz are selected for this award.
For the last decade, Kellen has eagerly accepted the challenge of making kitchen and baths both beautiful and functional. She especially enjoys layering “old with new” by incorporating antiques and vintage finds in more contemporary spaces, like displaying a claw foot tub in a modern bathroom or re-upholstering a traditional furniture piece in a fun, new fabric.
“I grew up watching home decorating shows with my mom and decided when I was about 13 that I wanted to pursue interior design,” recalls Kellen. “I job shadowed a local designer in junior high and completely gutted and remodeled our home bathroom for my senior project in high school.” Her interest in construction and design motivated her to graduate Summa Cum Laude from The University of Akron Interior Design program and establish a career with Posh Places. “I love sharing all of the amazing products and materials we carry,” says the Salem, Ohio resident, “especially the drapery design and fabrics.”
With more than four years experience, Tonya closely collaborates with clients to create beautifully functional spaces, as well as tradesmen in the procurement of product layouts, plans and installation. “What I love most about my job is seeing the transformation,” she explains. “From initial space planning, drawings and 3D renderings to material selection, I love seeing the design scheme come together.”
A longtime fan of good vintage pieces, Tonya thrives on incorporating old and new, especially using mid-century modern furniture. In fact, growing up in the Youngstown area, she often drove past beautiful vacant houses and knew that she wanted to restore them one day. And that’s exactly what she’s doing. Off the clock, this Kent State interior design graduate spends her time hanging out with friends and family, caring for her rescue dogs and fixing up her Youngstown home.
Through material selection, space planning and 3D rendering, Hannah enhances the function, safety and aesthetics of spaces while taking into account how different colors, textures, furniture, lighting, and space work together. “I love a pop of color, whether it be a bright front door or an accent wall,” explains Hannah. “I also revel in mixing modern and vintage styles together.”
A graduate of Kent State University, Hannah recognized her passion early. “I had fun rearranging my room when I was younger and would always draw out a plan beforehand,” shares the Boardman, Ohio, native. “In high school, I began taking mechanical drawing classes, which made me want to pursue an interior design degree.” Outside of Posh Places, Hannah enjoys friends and family, photography, and traveling. Her favorite destination? Italy. “Getting to travel to multiple cities and seeing all the history was such a great experience.”
With decades of experience within the construction industry, TJ is a seasoned craftsman able to solve virtually any residential or commercial construction challenge. From bathroom and kitchen remodels to custom carpentry – such as doors, trim, flooring and crown molding – TJ is a master at incorporating traditional methods of woodworking with present day technology.
A life-long resident of Youngstown, good-humored TJ started on construction sites at 9 years old alongside family, and opened his own business when he was just 18. Now a father of two and grandfather of three, TJ is humbled to have his son following in his footsteps. “It’s not a job,” he says, “when you get to create something special every day.”
As a master floral designer, Pam creates imaginative floral displays that instantly energize a space, celebrate an occasion, or evoke a particular sentiment or style. Always open to new ideas, the artist enthusiastically collaborates with residential and commercial clients, as well as her Posh peers, to recommend the most aesthetically pleasing flowers, greenery and other artistic media in accordance with the type of arrangement desired and the specified budget.
With more than 40 years industry experience, Pam has been widely recognized in a variety of horticulture and floral design state competitions. Blending the unexpected with simple shapes and clean lines, she is continually inspired by the beauty of the world around her. From classic to whimsical, no two projects are ever alike, and Pam takes pride in knowing that her creations encompass each client’s personal tastes and preferences. Outside of Posh, the Poland, Ohio, resident enjoys riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles, enjoying family and, understandably, growing flowers.
